Anywho, it's my very first tomato plant, but in the month and 1/2 I've had it, it has really taken off in this heat and I was super excited when I noticed that I may have done something right!

Proud 'Mater Grower!
When my mom came over this past June, she brought over a small tomato plant that a family friend's great(?) grandparents had brought over with them from Italy. It's a little different type of tomato but we're thinking it will turn out to be somewhere between a cherry and regular sized tomato.
Anywho, it's my very first tomato plant, but in the month and 1/2 I've had it, it has really taken off in this heat and I was super excited when I noticed that I may have done something right!
My sis-in-law seems to think I have some sort of green thumb, but I just tell her all I do is water things and they seem to grow! So I just wanted to share what my "just watering" has produced! Can't wait to taste them :)

ReplyDeletebetter than mine. Mr. Gopher now has killed 4 of my tomato plants. That's after surrounding with marigolds which they are supposed to hate, figuring out how to spring the trap, a gopher beeper that is supposed to annoy them, moth balls which are supposed to have a nasty smell... and still he comes a-visiting and a-killing. Needless to say, Gopher 4 me 0.
