My last post seemed to grab the attention of an "anonymous" commenter and I'm not sure how I feel about it haha. If you're the anonymous commenter I'd love to know so I can be set at ease that I know you. But I donno how I feel about strangers giving input on my husband's job haha.
I've always kept my blog public just because of the pain it can be to have to approve everyone who wants to read it. However, I want to say to my family and friends that I may have to consider going private to keep unfamiliar people from helping themselves to our life story and feeling free to give their input. I will give notice before I do this but this is sort of a heads up.
If you don't know us, move on please :) if you do, I'll let you know before I go private.

I know the feeling. Every once in awhile I check the stats on our blog and it weirds me out a little. Hope the next five days fly by!!

ReplyDeleteI know the feeling too... and I've contemplated the same things... for now I've decided to be a little more select in what I post rather than go private. But who knows... it might come to that.

Because it's a public blog... anyone can see it. There should be a way you can control that it doesn't come up on Search Engines like Google and Yahoo. I did that on mine and it has cut down on people getting to it from sites I don't recognize. However, I use Wordpress so not sure about Blogger.
